Girls Lacrosse

Blaine Youth Lacrosse follows the current USA Lacrosse 12-Month Age Eligibility Guidelines and age verification requirements. Players are placed in divisions based on their age eligibility as defined by USA Lacrosse. USA Lacrosse continues to use a September 1 age cutoff for youth age groupings.

U10 (Typically Grades 3-4)

Spring Registration: $350*

U12 (Typically Grades 5-6)

Spring Registration: $400*

U14 (Typically Grades 7-8)

Winter Clinic

Save the dates for the 2027 Blaine Girls Lacrosse Winter Clinic! We’re sharing the schedule now so families can plan ahead for the spring season.

This year, the clinic will be held in the NSC Sports Hall at the National Sports Center in Blaine. The additional space will give players more room for drills, skill development, and game play.

Clinic Time: 8:00–9:00 AM

All age groups—6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U:

• Sunday, January 10
• Sunday, January 17
• Sunday, January 24
• Sunday, March 7

10U, 12U, and 14U only:

• Sunday, January 31
• Sunday, February 7
• Sunday, February 14
• Sunday, February 21

Student-athletes from the Blaine High School girls lacrosse program will once again help instruct our younger players. This is a great opportunity for youth players to learn from and connect with older players in the Blaine lacrosse community while preparing for the spring season.

Spring Season

• April and May
• One weekend tournament (Spring State Tournament)
• Weekday practices, 2 to 3 days per week. Days TBD.
• Doubleheader weekend games on Saturdays or Sundays, 6-8 games depending on age level

Summer Season

• June and July
• Two weekend tournaments - Mid-Season (TBD) & Summer State
• Practice 2-3 days per week, total days up to 5 days per week in total including games, plan on Monday through Thursday, maybe an occasional Friday

Fall Season

• Fall season will depend on player interest.

• Uniform discount if you register for both Spring and Summer

• Additional one-time $25 discount per child if you register multiple players from the same family in BYLA (Boys and Girls) for the 2026 season

• Payment plan option available in the registration process

• Discounts available for families in need – contact the Girls Director for requirements

• Practices are held at Lexington Athletic Complex and Northpoint Elementary School.

• Games are held in Blaine as well as other various Twin Cities suburbs.

Players receive a new uniform (jersey, shorts & t-shirt) to use for the calendar year.

• Additional $35 USA Lacrosse membership is required for registration, not included in the BYLA season fees. See our Player Resources page for more information.
• If enough girls are registered to field two teams at any level, there could be a tryout to determine team placement
• All registrants and their guardians will be required to read and agree to parent, and player codes of conduct as part of the registration process
