Players are provided with a uniform (jersey, shorts & t-shirt) to use for the calendar year.
Team Formation
Team size and mix are important components to a successful program. Therefore, we will be shifting some of our model beginning Spring 2025.
- 8U: 10-13 players per team
- 10U: 12-15 players per team
- 12U & 14U: 16-20 players per team
- A & B teams - determined at Spring season tryouts.
- If there are enough for multiple B teams, we will balance those teams.
- If registration numbers exceed our planned maximum at any level and yet not enough to host multiple teams at our minimum, we will host a single large team for that level.
Note: These roster sizes are ideal for Spring season. It may be necessary for summer teams to carry a 20% increase on the maximum.
Waive-up Requests
If you believe your player has the ability to play at a level other than determined by age or graduation year, you may submit a request by emailing boysdirector@blaineyouthlacrosse.com.
All requests will be reviewed by BYLA but are not guaranteed approval.
